DJ Therion

For DJ Therion there is more to it than mixing, scratching and producing.

Behind the art of Djing there is an influential and cultural connection that allows

him as an artist to express himself creatively.  He blends music from all spectrum’s harmoniously.

Behind his masterpieces lies a mastermind who brings together the melodies and transforms

them into the pulsating beat that keeps your head bopping and your body moving, whether you’re on a

dance floor or  cruising with your speakers thumping.  Perfecting his skills on the turntables landed a

prominent late-night slot on Northeastern University’s  WRBB 104.9

(where DJ and radio personality Wendy Williams too started her career)

there he was soon promoted to urban music director.  He quickly made a name for himself breaking

new songs and spinning classic Hip-Hop records on the airwaves.

The experience he gained in Boston as a DJ gave him skills to develop his career back in his

hometown of Providence, RI.  He jumped right into the night circuit, spinning at clubs.

For the past 10 years DJ Therion was an integral part as the co-organizer of the popular

clubs in downtown district working with promoters to bring up-and-coming artists

from across the country to showcase their talents.

Working with different artists influenced DJ Therion to experiment with new genres.

He began spinning funk, reggae, zouk, dance, latin, pop and rock.

He has performed at different clubs in New England, New York, Atlanta, Paris

and the Cape Verde Islands dubbing him the “International Player with a Passport”.

Party goers follow the name, venues where he performs are always packed.

His talent attracts the attention of industry promoters, who frequently hire him

to DJ shows featuring major label acts such as Wu-Tang, Lupe Fisaco,

Elephant Man, the LOX and the Clipse to name a few.

His accomplishments demonstrate how far he has come.

DJ Therion has a vision of even greater things for himself,

his city and the Hip-Hop nation.  He has plans to make an impact in radio,

introduce fresh new talent to the world, and represent his culture.

He humbly says, “I would like to keep rocking parties all over the

world and spread my brand to different radio

stations around the nation.”
